The baseball on the desk of Harlan Thrombey’s (Christopher Plummer) seems to take on a life of its own as it moves from scene-to-scene in the hit whodunit Knives Out. Originally situated on the desk, it eventually gets maliciously tossed out the window by Don Johnson’s philandering Richard Drysdale. The baseball is later scooped up by Daniel Craig’s detective Benoit Blanc and tossed to a German shepherd (who drops an important clue to chase it) before the ball (pictured, in the dog’s mouth) is eventually snatched from the pooch’s jaws by Jamie Lee Curtis’s Linda Drysdale and returned to the desk, where it leads to another clue. The well-traveled baseball eventually made its way from the set of Knives Out to VIP Fan Auctions, which is now making it available to the movie fan who places the winning bid!
